What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a small file that a web browser stores on a computer, mobile device, or any other device used to access a website. When you visit a website or use a mobile application, the website requests permission to store this file on your computer, mobile device, or other device and to access the information it contains.
Cookies collect and store information about your use of a website or mobile application, your browsing activity, and your interaction with our online advertising and marketing. This information enables the website or mobile application to remember your actions or preferences, personalise content, improve your user experience, and help us enhance our websites, mobile applications, and marketing communications. We use cookies on our Website, and certain cookies are also placed by our third-party partners.

Types of Cookies
Cookies differ according to their duration, source, and purpose. We use the following categories of cookies on our Website:
1. Cookies by Source / Provider
First-party cookies are cookies placed by our Website in your web browser and/or on the device you use to access the Website. A unique identifier is assigned to you so that we can recognise your journey through our Website. First-party cookies enable us to recognise you and help personalise and manage your experience while using our Website.
Third-party cookies are placed by third parties, often because we use external service providers for certain Website functions (such as web graphics plug-ins and booking system functionality), for advertising purposes, or to analyse the use of our Website through services such as Google Analytics. We do not control third-party cookies, even where we receive information from those third parties relating to the cookies they place on our Website.
2. Cookies by Duration
Persistent cookies remain stored in your web browser and/or on the device you use between browsing sessions until you delete them manually or your browser deletes them in accordance with the lifespan assigned to each cookie. These cookies enable our Website to recognise you when you return, allowing us to remember your preferences and tailor our products and services to your needs. For example, websites use persistent cookies to store information such as your username and password, language preferences, or cookie settings, so that you do not need to re-enter them on subsequent visits. Please note that persistent cookies may remain on the device you used to access the Website for days, months, or even years.
Session cookies are temporary cookies that expire when you close your web browser. These cookies enable our Website to link your actions during a single browsing session, allowing you to use the Website more efficiently. For example, session cookies may store information such as the last few pages you visited on the Website or the items in your shopping cart when using an e-commerce website.
3. Cookies by Purpose
Technical / Strictly Necessary Cookies are essential for the proper functioning of our Website. These cookies enable core Website services, such as secure login and booking services. We do not require your consent to use this category of cookies.
Functional Cookies allow the Website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. These cookies enable us to recognise you when you return to our Website, personalise the content displayed to you, and remember your preferences, such as your selected language or region.
Analytics / Performance Cookies help us understand how visitors use our Website, how they navigate through it, and which content they find most interesting. We use this information to improve the performance, functionality, and usability of our Website.
Marketing Cookies record your visit to our Website, the other websites you visit, and the links you follow. The information collected through these cookies helps us tailor our Website and advertising to your interests.
Social Media Cookies are used to personalise your interaction with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Analytics and Advertising Tools
The Company uses analytics and advertising tools on its Website. Below you will find more detailed information about each tool.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a tool for tracking and analysing traffic on websites and applications. Each time a user visits the Website, a tracking code collects pseudo-anonymised data about how the user interacts with the Website. The collected data helps us understand user needs and personalise the user experience, as well as provide more relevant advertising. Google Analytics collects first-party cookies, device/browser-related data, IP addresses, and website/app activity in order to measure and report statistical data on user interactions on websites and/or applications using Google Analytics.
This allows us to obtain information such as how many users have visited our Website, what visitors most frequently search for, language settings, browser types (e.g. Chrome or Safari), and the device and operating system on which the browser is running.
More information about how Google Analytics processes data can be found at Privacy Policy.
More information on how you can opt out of sharing activity data with Google Analytics can be found at the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Advertising (Google Ads)
Google Ads is an online advertising solution that enables the promotion of products and services on Google Search, YouTube, and other websites. This allows us to reach new users when they search on Google for terms related to the Company or browse websites with related content.
When users search using keywords selected by the Company, our ads may appear next to or above search results. When a user visits a page or views an advertisement that uses Google tools—either on Google services or on other websites and applications—various cookies may be sent to the user’s browser. These cookies may be used for several purposes, such as preventing the same ad from being shown repeatedly, detecting and stopping click fraud, and displaying more relevant ads (for example, ads based on websites the user has previously visited).
More information about Google Ads can be found on the official Google Ads page.
Google Enhanced Conversions
We use conversion tracking as part of the Google Ads tool. If you have clicked on a Google advertisement and have consented to the use of marketing cookies via the banner displayed on the Company’s Website, conversion tracking cookies will be set. These cookies contain information about the interaction and a unique identifier for the user or ad click that led the user to the Company’s Website. This allows Google and us to track the number of users who clicked on an advertisement and were subsequently redirected to and visited the Company’s Website.
More information about Google conversions can be found at: How Google uses conversion event data.
The Company also uses an extension called “Enhanced Conversions” within the Google Ads tool. Enhanced Conversions is a feature that can improve the accuracy of conversion measurement. It supplements existing conversion tags by sending hashed, directly collected conversion data from the Company’s Website to Google in a privacy-safe manner.
Data is collected when a user is logged into their Google account, views an advertisement served via Google channels, and subsequently completes a conversion (e.g. a booking) on the Company’s Website. The conversion tag records fields selected for tracking on the Company’s Website (e.g. first name, last name, email address, home address, or telephone number).
For directly collected user data such as email addresses, the feature applies a secure one-way hashing algorithm (SHA-256) before transmitting the data to Google. The hashed data is then used to match users with Google accounts that were logged in when they interacted with one of the Company’s advertisements.
More information about Enhanced Conversions can be found at the following links: Conversion Tracking and How Google uses data for enhanced conversions.
Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads)
Microsoft Advertising is an online advertising platform developed by Microsoft. When users enter search terms (keywords) into search engines such as Bing, Yahoo, or AOL, Company advertisements may appear in search results if they match the keywords defined by the Company.
If a user clicks on an advertisement and, when visiting the Company’s Website, accepts marketing cookies in the consent settings, cookies are stored on the device. These cookies allow the Company to track how many users visited the Website after clicking on an advertisement. They are also used to track visitors across multiple websites in order to display more relevant advertising based on user preferences.
More information on how Microsoft processes personal data can be found in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
If you wish to opt out of personalised advertising, more information is available at the following link.
